Saturday 16th March saw Rick along with his coaching staff Chris and Matt take their little U7’s for the first instalment of their time at Roffey Robins away to Heron Way. It was muddy and very very windy! The poor 6 & 7 year olds were being blown over…

They played a format of 4 x 20 minute games with all players getting rotated to enjoy maximum playing time. At this age the game scores aren’t published but I will say that Bobby was lucky enough to get a goal in the third game, well done Bobby!

The only aim for this first insight to a game situation was for the kids to have fun. It’s safe to say that despite the weather they all loved it. I think Rick, Chris and Matt were more nervous than them.

There was also a huge presence from the parents, grandparents and friends of all the players, the support is greatly appreciated.

Well done Roffey Robins U7’s!!!
